What was the role that the (PNP) played in the anti-colonial struggle? The People's National Party ( PNP) played a democratic and a mediator role in the anti-colonial struggle. It helped to fight against the oppressive system, and also the unfairness of the colonizers to the Jamaicans and the Negros, who were treated likes slaves, and in best cases had to work inhumanly to get some money in order to live.
